The Mars Volta Announce Fall Tour Dates

If you were one of the unfortunate few who missed The Mars Volta's triumphant appearance at last month's Bonnaroo festival then you may get another chance soon to catch the phenomenal Grammy Award winning progressive rock duo in a city near you this fall.
The Mars Volta's autumnal tour will kick off August 29 at the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco followed by a two-night headline stand at the Hollywood Palladium following on August 30 and September 1. Tickets for the two Los Angeles shows went on sale this Saturday, July 25, as did tickets for confirmed dates in Phoenix and St. Louis. Tickets for the remaining shows will go on sale July 31 and August 1.
Canadian rockers Our Lady Peace gear up to 'Burn' up the summer with July release, tour
Submitted by F. Daniel Kent on Tue, 06/30/2009 - 5:16amRaine Maida, Duncan Coutts, Jeremy Taggart and Steve Mazur aka Canadian rockers Our Lady Peace have announced they will release their 7th studio album entitled "Burn Burn" on July 21st, 2009.
Burn Burn will be released in the U.S. through Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group as a standard 10 track CD as well as a Deluxe two disc CD/DVD fanpack with bonus tracks, music videos and exclusive studio footage.
The band will be playing US shows this summer including July 21st at Irving Plaza in NYC and July 28th at the Troubadour in LA. A full list of dates is below.
